Believe in God; believe that he is, and that he created all things, both in heaven and in earth; believe that he has all wisdom, and all power, both in heaven and in earth; believe that man doth not comprehend all the things which the Lord can comprehend.
Personal experience has taught me that God has a much better understanding of my needs than I do. I know that His wisdom is great, and that He understands things that I don’t. When I make an effort to understand and follow God’s will in my life, I am a much happier person. Trusting that God is my Creator, that He is more intelligent than me, and that He loves me and wants the best for me brings joy to my life.
And again, believe that ye must repent of your sins and forsake them, and humble yourselves before God; and ask in sincerity of heart that he would forgive you; and now, if you believe all these things see that ye do them.
Repentance is a gift from God, paid for by the suffering and sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ. I believe that I must repent of my sins and forsake them, and that turning to God in humility and sincerely asking Him for forgiveness can bring great inner peace.
